Reality of it all

We have gotten to the point in this country that no one tells the truth and everyone wants to be something that they are not.  I used to hate being different but now I know it's a blessing to tell things as I see them and give love instead of lies to all that deserve it. 

It used to be that television was all fantasy and it was always stated to us as children don't believe anything you see on tv but now they have reality tv which is still fantasy it's no reality to it; all the actors have stylist, hair dressers, cars, house and clothes where's the reality in that?  It's sad they we have gotten to the point in our country that everything is a fantasy that everyone is trying to reach, an unattainable dream "reality" to the point where we are in debts, losing cars, houses, jobs trying to reach that fantasy the media has put into our thinking.

We need to wake up, stop living above our means, stop playing the champagne superstars on a 4 loko budget. We watch others so closely and try our best to be like others, we lose who we truly are, nothing is given to us freely like on tv and nothing is wrong with working a regular job, having a regular home, car etc..as long as you are happy and fullfilled who cares what others think of your circumstances, the ones talking are even worse off then you are that's why they are there waiting for you to fall to their level..

Rise above the dreams until it's your time to fullfill it, it may not be today or tomorrow but keep your dreams alive, live the way you need to survive and focus to obtain the obtainable in due time the fantasy world will just be that a fantasy because you will be living your own REALITY

THE TEARS IN THE RAIN

THEY SAY RAIN IS GOD'S TEARS CLEANSING THE EARTH.  I LOVE THE RAIN, IT BRINGS PEACE AND HARMONY WHILE GIVING THE EARTH A CHANCE TO GROW AND IT'S CREATURES A CHANCE TO LIVE. RAIN IS LIKE A BROKEN HEART, THE TEARS CLEANSE THE SOUL OF THE PAIN BUT IT GIVES YOU A CHANCE TO GROW INTO A STRONGER PERSON.  I'VE SHED MANY TEARS FOR MY DEAD FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS, FOR HEART BREAK OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND FOR FAILURES THAT WERE OUT OF MY CONTROL BUT I CLEANSED MY SOUL WITH THOSE TEARS MOVED PASSED THE HEARTACHE, BLESSED THE PAIN MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY FEEL NO MORE AND FORGAVE THE ONES WHO WISHED THE FAILURE ON ME GIVING ME STRENGTH AND MOTIVATION TO BE BETTER THAN THEY EXPECTED ME TO BE. ALLAH MADE EVERYONE PERFECT WITHIN THEYRE OWN SELVES.  HE DOESN'T MAKE MISTAKES PEOPLE DO..WHEN WE TELLS SOMEONE THEY ARE NOT PERFECT CAN YOU SEND THEIR INSIDES, THEIR HEARTS, THEIR BRAINS. WHAT MAKES YOU THINK BECAUSE I PERSON HAS AN OUTSIDE DEFECT DOESN'T REQUIRE THEM TO BE PERFECT. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN IN HOLLYWOOD HAVE HAD SOME TYPE OF SURGERY TO BE WHAT SOCIETY CALLS PERFECT YET THEY ARE ALONE, CAN'T KEEP A HUSBAND HMMM SO THE OUTSIDE IS PERFECT BUT THE INSIDE IS UGLY..EVERYONE IS PERFECT IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER SUCH AS IN BEAUTY, YOU MAY SAY THAT PERSON IS BEAUTIFUL BUT ANOTHER MAY SAY THEY ARE NOT.  PERFECTION IS A MISCONCEPTION OF A PERSON'S THINKING AS INDIVIDUALS WE HAVE OUR OWN PERCEPTION OF BEAUTY AND PERFECTION.  NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER AND NEVER TAKE THE WORDS OF SOMEONE PERSONALLY, IT'S ONLY ONE PERSON'S PERCEPTIONS..BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND YOUR OWN BEAUTY..ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU ARE PERFECT!!!

TRUST

YEARS OF BETRAYAL HAVE TAUGHT ME HOW HARD IT IS TO TRUST.  WHEN I TRULY LOVE SOMEONE, I LOVE THEM UNCONDITIONAL NEVER BETRAYING THEM AND BECAUSE I TRUST THEM AND GIVE THEM FREEDOM TO MAKE THE CHOICE TO BETRAY THAT TRUST OR NOT, WHEN I DEAL WITH PEOPLE I ONLY GIVE THEM AN OUNCE OF MY TRUST AND 9 OUT OF 10 TIMES I WAS RIGHT, THE WORST PART IS WHEN THEY SMILE IN YOUR FACE AND STILL BETRAY YOU. I KNOW MY TRAITORS THE FUNNY PART IS THEY DON'T EVEN THINK THEY DID ANYTHING WRONG..BUT I KNOW KARMA IS A BEAST AND IT WILL COME A TIME WHEN JUST IS DUE!! I KNOW THIS WORD SO VIVIDLY NEVER CALLED IT JUST LIVED IT IN MY OWN HOUSE AND IN SCHOOL BUT THE STREETS I FIT IN REGARDLESS OF MY NICE CLOTHES AND EDUCATED FAMILY THAT LOOKED DOWN ON ME, THEY WERE MY FAMILY.,,THE STREETS..BUT GUESS WHAT THE OUTCASTS HAVE TAKEN OVER, THE GEEKS ARE THE TECHNOLOGY WIZARDS MAKING MONEY THE NORMAL CAN ONLY IMAGINE, THE THUGS ARE MILLIONAIRES WITH FANS ACROSS THE GLOBE AND THE INTRAVERTS ARE THE GREAT POETS AND WRITERS OF OUR TIME.. THE WORD SUCCESS CAN BE USED IN MANY FORMS, ALL SUCCESS STORIES DO NOT LEAD TO MONETARY VALUE..SUCCESS IS A GOAL YOU ACHIEVED NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL.  WATCHING A CHILD OR INJURED PERSON TAKE THEIR FIRST STEPS IS THE GREATEST SUCCESS IN THE WORLD ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY SAY THEY NEVER WOULD AGAIN.
EACH SMALL STEP WE TAKE IN LIFE CAN ALWAYS LEAD TO A LARGER GOAL.. FAMILY

FAMILY is more than just your blood relative, it's the people who love and support you no matter what you're going through.  All family is not good for you either, just like in life I learned at a young age about jealousy among your own blood relatives and lifelong friends hence me going to my street family who would die for me till this day. LOVE OF FAMILY is deeper than any other just remember alot of people didn't have it and need understanding when dealing with them just because you came from the normal average household many people did not and that's why are streets are so full of lost souls searching for that love of family that they are missing.  Tell you family you love them and you are there for them whenever they need you, if you don't the streets and prisons are going to keep filling up with good hearts that are just searching for what they are missing. Show Love and Support for all your family the blood relatives as well as your extended family..LOVE OF ALL FAMILY is needed more than ever right now.LOVE, TRUST AND SUPPORT YOUR FAMILY..the stronger the family the stronger it grows leading to unstoppable success and an unbreakable defense against all things..

FREEDOM (my opinion)

"Let freedom ring" hmm lyrics to my country tis of thee. Freedom is a constitutional right in America right?  Yet police harrass citizens just walking down the street just because they are having a bad day, bosses are firing employees that work hard yet spoke out against the system.. Freedom..our freedom is judged by who.  We should be free to say whatever will want and wherever we want.  Our children should be allowed to go to whatever school that fits their needs and parents not be arrested for it. Again I ask are we as Americans really FREE? Our people are dying, our families locked up, men being put to death with reasonable doubt of their guilt, guns are in the hands of the wrong people, leaving citizens defenseless and drugs are all over the streets while the rich get richer off of them the poor struggle, killing one another to get by. Yes we are FREE to do whatever is acceptable by our society. I asked a boss one day, why does a government agency have employee appreciation food in the lobby of a govt. building during the month of ramadan, her response "what you want us to bow down to every religion we would never get anything done..smh idiot. YES we are FREE to practice our religious beliefs as long as it doesn't interfere in anyone else's. YES we are FREE to carry weapons for defense after you fill out a mound of paperwork and the govt puts you on a list. hmmm YES we are FREE to walk down the streets unless you are a black male, hispanic or wearing a barka you are now suspicious and will be stopped. I know this is just my opinion on this issue but as the years go by, our freedom that our forefathers and civil rights leaders fought for are slowly being taken away from us and NO ONE is standing up for that...FREEDOM TO LIVE AS THE AMERICANS OF THE PAST!!! WE WANT OUR FREEDOM BACK..FREEDOM TO WORK OR GO TO SCHOOL WHERE WE WANT, FREEDOM TO PRAY WHEN WE WANT, FREEDOM TO GO TO THE DOCTOR WE NEED AND FREEDOM LIVE AS A FREE NATION!!! REALITY OF TRUE LOVE (UNCONDITIONAL)

LOVE-alot of people say the words"I love you" but do they understand that loving someone is a responsiblity to that person, like a mother loves her child unconditionally so is the love in a relationship.  Love is more than an emotional connection, I need to be loved or a sexual lust for the other person.  True Love is unconditional, you love someones flaws as much as you love the beautiful things about them. Love is a deep connection for the well-being of that person, I need to love them no matter what happens good or bad, to care for that person if theyre down or up, to want a better life and grow as one to succeed in whatever you do together making that bud of love grow into a beautiful flower.  This only works when both people are truly in love with one another unconditionally and you work together to make it.  There is no one-way streets when love is real..IF you are riding on a one way street and nothing is coming back your way, no matter how many times this person says they love you but shows nothing to prove it...RUN!!! Most one way streets in love are a dead end or even a cliff at the end. Just remember true love is truly unconditional....

Loyalty no longer exists

Loyalty is Royalty right?  History states Royalty is loyal to their country and the soldiers and countrymen were loyal to their king no matter what.  Loyalty is a word thrown around a lot in the music industry and in the corporate world.  We are failing as a people because this word has no meaning anymore.  People work jobs for years never take a day off, finish all projects on time and still be the first laid off because some higher up doesn't want to lose his/her high salary regardless of the hard working loyal employee they just let go.. Same thing in the industry people are loyal to the people that helped them get there until they get where they need to go and "poof" those people are not needed anymore. Our country is failing because that one word "Loyalty" is no longer a necessity for survival of us all as one people.  Growing up in a different place and time, I learned lessons earlier than most about betrayal and loyalty.  I heard about the movements, the government tactic and how friends have two faces.  Vowing to never be that way I know who I am..Do you?  Never say you have loyalty to your people if you don't and never let these people in your lives.. Loyalty is Royalty no more just be that loyal person, if someone betrays you that will not be on your conscience it will continue to be on theirs for anyone betrayal of trust will never go unpunished either in this life or beyond.  Let Go and Let God deal with them..

CHANGE IS THE KEY

Day breaks and everything is new again, if yesterday was a never ending cycle of headaches and disappointments. Just remember that was yesterday and today is a new day full of new opportunities, new people and a new beginning.  If you have those people who come back to you and try to bring up a bad experience of yesterday just move away from them and always live for today and the future. You can change today and even change your future but you can never go back in time to change yesterday. Make those necessary changes you need today to bring forth a brighter future.  Just remember it won't be handed to you, you have to work for that change, a change within yourself, the people you deal with and a change for the best you can be at whatever you decide to do in life..

PAIN

PAIN can prevent you from achieving your goals but only if you let it.  You see stories of people beating the odds and surviving a life threatening event.  It's all mental, if you mind is strong enough to block the pain and move toward life, nothing can stop you.  Even doctors are amazed at feats people accomplish while others whine, sit around wither and die.  Life is a never ending journey and those who fight through pain are the only winners in the end.  Let nothing stop you from living the greatest gift in the world...Life, it is worth living no matter what...Wake up every morning and walk outside see the world moving, birds singing, children laughing and remember no matter what the pain you feel today, will only hold you from living if you let it...PAIN my motivator to get me moving and live my life to the fullest no matter what..just another enemy I'm willing to defeat...

Scars Unseen

The face of a person may never show the scars that are unseen.  Many things happen in a person's life that is embedded in their memories that hurt more than any physical scars seen on their bodies.  Speak wisely, tread softly and remember no one is the same as you.  A beautiful smile can hide alot of pain and unseen horrors that you will never understand.  Unseen scars can make or break a person, only the strong truely survive, break cycles of uncaring, break cycles of violents and break cycles of not having self worth.  No one is stronger than you, not the hood that started the cycle and not the people who put these unseen scars upon you.  Your own strength to make it through made you the beautiful person you are today..Love hard, Live fast, want life but most of all stay the beautiful tower of strength that you are NO one can break you but your own mind.. WE LIVE...

Hood Heroes

Most heroes come from the most unlikely of places and they get no recognition for the lives they have changed.  Heroes are more than heroic acts, it's surviving things that would kill or destroy the average person giving people in the same situation hope for a better day too.  My favorite heroes understand struggles, hunger and pain but still survived to live another day regardless of what our so-called society thinks of them. My heroes are scarred deeper than the eye can see and still moving upward and on with life getting better by the day. Forgive the one's who will never understand you, they never will; they are too scared to face the strength within you.  They will never have the strength that will take you to the moon while they run around in circles living the "normal" life with no exciting stories to tell, no near misses to praise god for, no examples to teach their kids what to be aware of. They are just Gerbils running on a wheel in a cage called their life. You are the heroes that changed lives not the average gerbils...

THE GAME OF LIFE

Life is like a game believe it or not but like any game as in life you win some challenges and you lose some as long as you do your best until the ultimate trophy is yours, you have lived the life you were meant to. Never let someone throw fouls or intercept the goal you have set for yourself, only you can make your own destiny.  If people don't support you or stand behind what you want to do, use it as motivation to achieve the ultimate goal...which is success. Now go play this game called life and win that trophy by any means necessary..

QUIET ENEMIES

Some people don't want to see you succeed because they don't want to try what you are doing themselves. They hate your bravery, the bravery they will never have so they try to demean you, discourage you even throw your name in the mud out of fear that you will succeed doing the things they were afraid to try, to venture out of that comfort zone.  Stay committed to your own destiny that was made for you, no one can make you fail but your own denial of your own self worth. Quiet enemies are all around you, in your office, in your neighborhood and in your own family.  Do Not fear them or give in to their will of you to fail.  The fear they have is their own hate of themselves.

What one may perceive as beautiful in their own eyes may be unattractive in anothers, never bend down to smell the rose without looking inside it may be a bee inside and always look beyond the shell of a person there may be a beautiful pearl inside or it may be just another clam with a shiny shell.
